Ask a guy from New Jersey anything...

What is up with jug handles and no left turns in Jersey? Is Newark really where turds go to die?

And: Chick's, Big John's, Gino's, or Jim's for the cheesesteak championship? (Personally, I'm going with Chick's)

1)There are plenty of left turns in Jersey. It depends on the highway, but jug handles can work well depending on the road and traffic volume.
What you shoudl REALLY be asking about grasshopper, is what's up with the friggen' traffic circles!??

2) Yes, turds go to die in Newark.

3) you haven't had pork roll yet.

Where's the best place to dump a body when the ground is frozen?

Pine Barrens. the soil is mostly sand. That, or the Meadowlands up north. Just find some thin ice, a deeper patch of water, some bricks and you're good.

wasn't trashy enough

NJ was sparsely inhabited by the Lenape, then the first whites to settle here were mostly Swedes and Dutch, both groups in smaller numbers. When the British came then named us, their Ilse of Jersey had been inhabited for a long time. It's 50/50 as to who had the most trash

like what? The Jersey Shore is like 150 miles worth of beaches... some pretty diverse 'kinds'. If you mean commercial tourist traps, sure if you just go to the main tourist trap areas, that is what you will find :p

I'm sure there are some nice secluded areas - but the general kitschy, touristy, boardwalky, full of people, etc. stuff to me is like a giant wart on nature.

How is ya'lls country side? Can't be the Garden State for nothing, right?

You seem to have an uncharacteristic derision for the state..? I'm surprised, as you damn near always strike me as a guy who functions squarely on logic. Assuming that an entire state is a refinery, chemical plant or a blighted city seems almost out of character for you. Maybe I'm reading you wrong?

Nah - I'm just picking on New Jersey.

I mean - it isn't like it's Ohio or something horrible like that.

The entire state isn't - WAY too much of the state is though.

Of course I'd say the same thing about any number of other state also.
