Why can i no longer find any remnants of the James Joyce thread?

and why was it closed in the first place?

EDIT: just found where someone tried to reopen it, but \mm/ closed it down... any specific reason... trying not to question authority, but i'm considering reopening it again, and wondering if it'd get shut down with like quickness

i don't know why mm closed anything - might want to check with him. i know the old one was closed/deleted because it was over 1000 posts. paul the site owner has asked us to do this to keep the database from going crazy. in the other forums we close em but leave em around for archiving and search purposes, but there's really no valid information whatsoever in off topic (outside this thread of course) so there's no reason to leave "ban war" and "let's make the longest sentence in the english language" threads around at all.
