LOL you're an idiot!
I'd rather play music that normal people enjoy listening to than repulsive-sounding music people pretend to enjoy listening to so they can signal to other people how smart and tasteful they are. "And that makes me an idiot, I suppose", to quote a Stan Rogers song we also covered.

Now, if this was a metal forum, I would word the above in a much meaner way, but I'll be nice.

Nowadays its know as choreography and can be seen on many prime-time television slots. As the saying goes "those who can't make music, dance to it."

It's not just choreography, it's blatantly goofy choreography. Just like Attack Attack!

I don't see it as anything to be offended by, but then again some people got seriously angry at Weird Al for doing "Amish Paradise".

The link you just posted sounds repulsive to me. Have fun with your "crunkcore" lol.

Can you please take a picture of yourself with a sign that says "GOATBOMB sounds repulsive to me" or something to that effect? We'd love to have you in the haters gallery on our Myspace.

Haha, why do you put crunkcore in quotes? Are you trying to tell me that we're not "real" crunkcore?

I'm trying to tell you that your argument makes no sense and you're making yourself look stupid. Good day.

I'm not interested in arguing or in making myself look smart. I play in other bands which might be a lot more useful for making myself look smart, but those bands or their fans aren't anywhere near as fun or interesting as Goatbomb.

I don't see why everybody get's their panties in a bunch about kids making music they like, music with meaning, but having fun with it. Alot of bands in this genre have songs with deep lyrics, and that are technical musically, but as soon as they mess around on stage or add some synth beats they are suddenly worthless. Motley Crue can wear makeup and have long hair and headbang, and sing about smokin' in the boys room, KISS can wear face paint and leather and studs and sing about rockin' and rollin' all night, Dee Snyder can dress like a chick and claim he's not gonna take it anymore, but as soon as Attack Attack headbangs with a wide stance while singing about their beliefs, they're garbage.

I don't think Motley Crue or KISS or Twisted Sister (or any metal band that more a few girls liked, haha) got off easy - they definitely had their haters back in the day, too. It wasn't as vitriolic in pre-Internet days when you had to say stuff to their fans' faces, but it was there. I mean, I get a ton of hate online for Goatbomb, but nothing in real life. At worst people just say they're into different music.

Anyway, I'm reminded of this quote Sergeant D wrote for Metal Inquisition:
...a changing of the guard in that the kids have finally figured out how to make music that offends and disgusts a generation of people who grew up listening to bands with names like Millions of Dead Cops, Regurgitation, Carcass, Ulcerous Phlegm, etc. I used to jam the Meats***s or whatever and think to myself, "Man, I have no idea how anybody could top this stuff, but I know someone will. I don't know how they'll manage to offend me and my peers, but I know they will." Well, now I know how, and I am happy I got to witness it live!

Most lyrics are about as deep as a kiddie pool, man.

But, you know, live and let live.

There will always be silly trendy music that's made by kids FOR other kids, it's much easy to just accept it and ignore it (aside from the ocassional voyeuristic chuckle) than to try and point out the obvious and allow them to bait you into an argument. If they wanna play/listen to bizarro world Britney Spears music I don't see any reason in trying to stop them.
