AudioKinesis Cabs Part VI...

Here's a video that just got released featuring one of Duke's TC112 v1 cabs. Its not in any of the video, but its in the signal chain, we blended the direct sound with a TC112 v1 mic'd up, probably 65% direct 35% cab. I'm not a big fan of all direct bass sound, and Duke's cab has been my go to for the mic'd sound in the studio for me, it just gives that extra air and natural midrange to the sound. Anyways....

Well done, Jordan. Nice chordal work and some cool melodic stuff. I can hear some of the Beatles influence, and I'm pretty sure I get the reference at the end. I think your daughter will get a kick out of it when she's older.

Thanks guys, it's a great job to have I love playing music and being here in "undisclosed locations" playing for troops is great. So here's a a love shot with dukes hathor 112 stack that I ordered especially for this deployment. Rocking out for troops tonight in the hot desert heat!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a cab stand for a tc15? A GS12 works well but rather defeats the purpose of having a 33 pound speaker cab. Two milk crates has already been suggested, but I was hoping for something more elegant.

I use this one for my TC112v1 which weighs about the same as your 15.

Musician's Gear Large Folding Tiltback Amp Stand Black | Musician's Friend

Disclaimer: It is made of very lightweight metal (perhaps aluminum), and the speaker does not sit on the stand on it's own. I have to use bungee cords to secure it to the stand. I only use it in situations where it's a small venue with limited stage space and I'm right up against my rig. It is very light and easy to transport.

that one looks unique in that its still close to the floor. how does the low end hold up with that? do you lose the floor coupling effect?
