Wow, that is awesome to hear!
I didn't tell Shrigg, but with both tone switches down, I was actually hoping to approximate the tone of the B15 but with the better dispersion that 5" mid brings to the table (so the tone would be more uniform over a wider area). My cab probably still has a little bit more top end than the B15, but my hope is that it would be within the range that tone controls could fix.

I'll have to double check with Denny but I *think* the mid switch was up during that magical moment of B15-esque P Bass bliss that we shared. And how sweet it was! The voicing switches are so amazing on the 1505. Huge win!

That would surprise me, but hey if I got a B15 tone by accident instead of on purpose, I'll take that too!
I haven't played through a B-15 in a long time until a few years ago when one was available at a jam session.
The tone is so smooth, warm and right sounding. If the 1505 sounds close to that by accident or not that would be
a huge plus. Plus the 1505 weight at 37lbs is icing on the cake.

You are very welcome. It was a real pleasure to play through the cab. I have read about them in the past and was intrigued, but this was my first real life experience. I certainly wouldn't have any problem making the statement that the 1505 could easily be the only cab that I owned and I would be extremely happy. I'd love to have a pair of them to have a larger stack onstage, but I certainly wouldn't need two.
Man, I can't say for sure...we had done so many swaps of instruments and went back and forth between my rack and the Kustom head and engaged and disengaged the switches so many time that I can't recall for sure. Plus there was beer.
I can say that the mid switch does do something really cool to a PBass that I really liked. I think I reiterated the "B-15" comment when I was playing my Stingray later with the mid switch down. To my ears the mid switch up seems to have a similar effect to the mid control on my Stingray. It seemed like too much of a good thing with the 'Ray, but it was really nice on the PBass. One thing we failed at Shrigg was that we should have run both the Berg and the 1505 together.

Well, you'll also most likely need a head that gets that vibe, or maybe a VT Bass. We noticed it when I was playing through Shrigg's Kustom head, which is fairly neutral, but my F-1X/QSC rig was certainly MY tone, but not very B-15ish.
One thing we failed at Shrigg was that we should have run both the Berg and the 1505 together.
True, doh! However I think we'd really need to pull a permit to do that, because demolition of the house and neighboring dwellings would surely ensue...

I used a recording of a direct feed from a P-Bass to come up with the "voicing" of the cab with the mid switch in the up position. So I'm glad to hear that turned out to be in the ballpark. Of course there's a ton of other cool voicings that I'm less familiar with.
Duke, the 1203 with both switches down absolutely nails the full round, overdriven sound of Classic Ampeg and I wish I had used that comparison. Even trying a couple different amps the H1203 still puts out that beautiful sound I enjoy so much. It is fun to see word spread about your awesome cabs!
Edit: I'm saving up for my second H1203. I've read how some of the other guys here have a double stack and how amazing they sound. I love my H1203 but I'm abxolutely stoked about adding a second cab and creating a mini rig of Doom.

Thank you... I got lucky on the voicing of the Hathor 1203. Wish I could say Classic Ampeg was my goal all along, but it wasn't. However it's REALLY nice to hear that the end result is in that tone universe!
Yup, another vote for the Hathor 1203 voicing being awesome in a variety of switch combinations. I love mine and much as I'm tempted by a 1505 or a TC112v3, a second 1203 wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
TC112v3 is here. I finally hear my bass as I imagined it should be, amp flat....I can also now hear how dead my strings really are....time to change those. Amazing cab. Really is more of a monitor. Looking forward to getting it out into the world. Thanks, Duke!!!!
sweet. i think you'll find that it really accentuates your touch and bits of nuance. (well, i thought it did for me.)
