Yes he did thanks to me! I sent him the measurements many moons ago and he made mine. Fits like a glove. I told him many people from TB would probably be hitting him up for some more. He said he was going to add it to his database. I guess he never did! LOL! Ii think that was 2 years ago!

Yeah Susan is great and so is her husband Mike (works for Mesa). Her bags are great quality but pricey. The Tuki cover is very well made, padded well, and also has the velcro strap around the bottom too.

Honestly the Tuki is just as good as the studio slips cover I have (dare I say it) for a Dr. Bass cab I own.

Used the Birdhaus 46 in a golf club gig last night. The place was packed to standing room only, and the crowd was raucous. We had fun. My rig got stuffed into a corner in order to try to keep stage volume controlled. We were louder than I usually play these days. We were right at the hairy edge of gain before feedback for the acoustic guitar. The 46 had no trouble keeping up, and I could hear everything well. I ran sealed to tame the bottom that being in a corner added. That option was very welcomed. It lit the room up well.

Whole set up was a Barker B1 five fretless, GK MB 500 and the 46. My tone profile was a big full clean - like you hear on a New York TV production.

Ok ya'll....I'm coming from playing the same cabs for around 15 years, Bergantino HT112's. Those cabs have a built in low mid push that can sometimes sound boxy, but always sits perfectly in a mix. I just received a new TC112v3. I know I need more time with it, and I'm looking forward to it, but I found myself constantly fiddling to eq the cab in a live situation this morning. It sounds so beautiful, and is a great deal more even from top to bottom than I'm used to hearing. It makes my chambered 6 string electric bass sound closer to what I had imagined, which is more "acoustic". I did however struggle with the more polite midrange of this new cab. I'm using an older Powersoft Puma 500 for a head. Any thoughts on this? I haven't had to think much about my live sound for many years.

I'd live with it until you get your new bass, you may not find the solution for both to be the same. IMO

Have you tried plugging one of the ports yet? To my ears that gets my TC112 a bit closer to HT112 territory. Beyond that, Duke's cabs take EQ very well, and things like string changes may make more difference than you've been used to.

Thanks guys. My cab has four ports. I only had one open for the gig this morning. It still sounded huge and wonderful, but it was more difficult to get the low mid content that I'm used to. I will say this, I've never played through a cab where I can hear the eq changes so dramatically as I can with this one. It's amazing.

As for strings, I had been using the same Fodera Nickel strings for years and recently switched to less expensive D'Addario XL's. They do sound good, but maybe something with more mids built into them. Definitely a possibility.
