Does that mean the H1866 will have a couple 6" mids or maybe just one or....?

The 1866 will have two 6" mids plus a Thunderchild tweeter. Pretty much the ultimate!

How do you like it, and what advantages have you found with the SA82, compared to other products you have tried?
I'm going to be honest, I totally wasn't shopping for something different for the sake of trying something new. Power conditioners don't really get me excited. But, I saw a solution to my adoption of lightweight (and more importantly) small footprint Class D heads. Plus with Duke's cabs and how compact they are, I really wanted to stop using the full 19" Monster rack units because of the overlap.
The SA performs just as well as the other stuff I've had, I just needed a minimalist solution (to power the Puma 900 and the 18V power for the Cali 76 tx.

The bass is my custom Ristola 6 string. The copper tape wounds I put on a few months back made a huge difference and helped me to get the tone on that record. Love those strings for what I do.
Sorry...made by LaBella. They take a little while to get normally (made to order) but well worth it for my needs. Check in with Bass Strings Online.
I have La Bella tapes on my RA Mouse but also a set of gold white tapes on my fretless Jazz. I think they're fantastic, actually. I've been debating on whether or not to go back to EB cobalts flats on the fretless Jazz, but I'm going to leave the gold whites on for the time being.
I have the LaBella "Game of Death" tapewounds on my Yamaha. They're considered to be between the gold and the white, I believe. They turn them out every once in a while. Pretty nice string. Definitely on the bright side compared to black tapes, but it depends on whose you're talking about. Roto 88's are the very opposite of bright whereas D'Addario black tapes are probably the brightest I've tried (and my favorite in general).
I've also used the white cooper nylons, I tried a set of "green hornets" I think the same as Game of Death but in a different color. They aren't on any bass right now, but cool strings just need the right partner.
My new favorite string are Cobalt Flats. Crystal clear, non boomy, nice and tight, no edgy highs, yet not clunky like many flats.
I have a set of the Green Hornets waiting to get installed on something. They were are an 'oooooh, shiny!' purchase.
This. The cobalt flats are astoundingly good, they have punch for days and an articulateness that only Sadowsky Black Label flats approach in my experience.
