Is it fair to assume that the cover for the 1203T would also work for the Changeling 112T as well? I have one on the way and would prefer to store and transport it covered.

It should. The external dimensions and handle location are identical.

It seems to me the taller versions would be more to my liking. I prefer not to elavate my cab/s off of the floor ever. So anything that's gets sound up closer to my failing ears is a bonus. I find the top porting very appealing too. As a side note I finally bought myself a new/used Lexus RX to replace my tired but still dependable Pathfinder. I've had to save for a year to make it happen and that has eliminated GAS purchases. But finally I can begin saving up for an AK cab. Ok I might have bought a bass or two. .........Woopie! NTD! (New truck day)

I did sound mostly yesterday for a friends band at a party. Bassist used my Hathor and Markbass LMK. It' cool to hear your stuff from the audience side. He was using a Warwick streamer PJ. (I play a Reimer PJ5) that little cab can sure dish out. With a loud drummer I still had to just lightly have the bass in the mix and wasn't pushing the amp volume past 11oclock.

Before I ordered my cabs, I had asked about small PA usage.

Well I ordered mine with pole mounts, and am using them with a crown xls1502 amp. They sound incredible!

Yep, I've been using my TC112AF for open mikes quite a bit this year. For the whole open mike, not just bass.

Cool. I see what appear to be some small studio monitors next to the screen. Do the AK cabs ever fill that role as well?

Yep, I've been using my TC112AF for open mikes quite a bit this year. For the whole open mike, not just bass.

So everyone runs through the one cab? Guitar, keys, bass, vocals, miscellaneous instruments? I'm guessing that drums, if present, are not amplified.

The house board handles two vocal mics and two instruments. I bring that mix into the Aux In on my amp. Drum bleed into the vocal mics gets into the zone mixes for the other two rooms. Works great for this particular restaurant. Drums are usually minimalistic though, rarely a full kit and never miked kick even if we use a full blown PA. I hardly ever play with close miked drums anymore.

Is that a subwoofer below the small keyboard near the screen? If so, I have some unorthodox subwoofer/room interaction ideas that might be useful.
