With the new Ciare drivers (thanks Mike Arnopol!) this design would work really well, even for a five string.

The ability to do that and the modularity (112, 212, 312) was what motivated me to order the 212. It's great. But even being in a loud band, I rarely have the opportunity to "let 'er rip" with just the 212, including outdoor shows!Just for fun, why not stack your AK Ch212 with the 1203. Select 2ohm setting on the WD800, and let 'er rip. Please do tell results![]()
Come on now, I think the 1203 is capable of a lot more than small and quietBut, I think for a small/quiet gig rig, the 1203 would satisfy a player who feels at-home with the NV sound.
I briefly considered it for about 5 minutes just this afternoon. Then gave my head a shake.Wing and a prayer plea.
