I've had some e-mail problems over the past couple of weeks, I think they are resolved now, shoot me one and if I don't write back soon then send me a message here.

Here is my Changeling 212 at a gig last Friday. I was running a Fender Rumble 500 head, and had to turn the volume pretty low, however the monitors and front of house were LOUD and capable of running ampless.
So my question is this: I’ve recently come across a used Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 (300 watts into 4ohms) and I’m quite impressed with the tone………. So will that be enough amp to power the Changeling 212? I’ve never had an issue being heard with this cab at 500 watts. Can’t see 300 being too much different, but don’t want to have to stress the little shuttle either.

If you like guts with your glory, try a Shuttlemax 9.2 instead. That amp drives my TC212 like a sledgehammer. Great tone, headroom, and slam for any size gig without ever worrying about "enough."
Oddly enough, the shop had that amp used as well! But it sold to another lucky bassist. I’ve been kicking the tires on this used Shuttle 3.0 for months now, and it hasn’t sold yet. Price seems low as well. Just want to make sure it can drive my AK Changeling 212.
I used a Carvin BX250 at a show last night with the master set on 2, and it was still plenty of volume. I think 300 watts should be fine.
300 Genz watts will certainly drive that cab to a gigable volume. Whether or not that's enough headroom depends on how loud your band is and your tone goals. There's no such thing as underpowering a cab. Manufacturers determine their cab's sensitivity at 1 watt measured at 1 meter.
As long as it's loud enough for the gig, the Thunderchild sounds great with as little as 200 watts, IME.
Thre's one catch, though. Do you play 5 or 6-string basses?
The 3.0 has the same preamp as the larger Shuttles, and it's a beautifully-engineered head. However, it has a higher HPF threshold, and doesn't have the same impact as the larger Genz-Benz heads on the low B.
That was a downer for me, and one of the things that pushed me toward the Streamliner 900 at the time...
I play a 4 string, regardless if it’s a P, Jazz, or Stingray.
