I think you should go with a combination of gell and spray. Blow dryer to taste, but use a high pass comb and a low mid bump with a brush.

Either way. Avatar works good like a speaker cab should. Us Avatar users would rather fight than switch. I'd walk a mile for an Avatar.

Just heard it through headphones. Two things- you'e playing was great! Absolutely fit and was tight. The other thing was the sound of the bass- great jazz bass sound. Really clear, but not too bright. Were you able to also get some bass out of that rig that you felt in the gut? Couldn't really tell from the recording.

The cab seems like a total keeper.

edit- wouldn't mind stealing that drummer from the flat-wound clip- nice pocket!

Oh ya...definetely hit me in the gut my friend! It can really produce some big bottom end! That said, for me, it is really about finding that delicate balance between lows, low mids, high mids, and treble...all bass and low end ends up a muddy blob in the mix. I like to balance any low end boost with a high mid boost to ensure clarity without 'clankiness. Great cab man. Incredibly articulate! Cheers!
