How did the LMII work out for you? I was looking at the LMII or maybe and Ashdown LG1000...i guess the GB Shuttle 6.0 is in there too, but i can always add a tube pre later on.

I rock a 210/112. It gives you a pretty versatile range, and still enough speaker area to do what you need it to do. I bought mine because I have gone from Megoliath 8x10 to Goliath 4x10 to my current set up.
Much lighter, and a tone that is better than my Goliath 4x10's was. It doesn't fart out on me. The Megoliath trumps both of them, but I am happy with what I have. Adequate stage volume/moving about with ease.
Splitting the stack makes it fit in my car better too.
Warwick Profet 5.2. It is 500 Watts @ 4 ohms or 350 @ 8. I use a SansAmp as a pre and my head as power only. It is a wonderful thing.
I had both the cabs wired to 8 ohms, just in case I feel the need to add a 2x12 in the off chance I start touring and want the "look".
So I have a lot of watts, but I don't really use them. My amp has never seen anything past 2 (not 2 o'clock) on the volume pot.

Cool, i was unsure of their sensativity and how much power it would take to get a good response.

Does anyone know the specs on the Avatar BR210 Neo? I'm using one, and wondering where the bass response bottoms out. My Aguilar GS112 claims response to 41 Hz. You'll notice I said "claims." I'm aware of the issues re specs and response.

I running a Carvin BX1200 biamped into an Aguilar GS112 (lows) and an Avatar BR210 Neo (mids/highs). I usually cross it over around 200-250 HZ. Plenty of volume for small-medium clubs and used it outside with no problem also. In fact the clubowner said we were the loudest band to ever play at his outside venue. Luckily we were going over quite well, so he didn't say that until after the show.

just keep in mind those are the specs for a single speaker independent of the cabinet avatar loads them in and tunes. so probably not as much "real world" useful info as you would like, unless you are going to model the speakers in a cab reflecting Avatars dimensions???
How can I tell if I have the 1st generation Neo Speakers or if I have the new LF 2 generation Neo Speakers in my Avatar 2x10 and 2x12?

It didn't, I had issues with the speakon outs. I sent it back and tried the F1 which cut out on me the first night. It went back due to a trust issue. I then got the GB 6.0. didn't like it. I now use either an Acousitc B200H or B600H. Thinking of the new Carvin BX500 though

I've had the NEO212 for a year now and I have been very pleased. The midrange is absolutely kicking. If you want to get along with only one cabinet, a 2x12 is a great choise. Great value for money. Don't have the horn in it anymore because my amp fried it

So I called Dave in Idaho, had a nice chat and order a matched set of SB112 speaker cabs with Eminence Neo LF drivers. As I want to use them as a stack sometimes, I asked Dave for a matched set of drivers. He said they get carton loads of them, like 100 at a time with no serials numbers, each batch should match. Cool with me. The UPS man was at my door with these speakers 3 days later, I can live with that good service.
I paid the extra $60 per cab for the Line-X textured coating and am glad I did. They look way cooler than carpet and I expect them to last forever.
I will take one SB112 to my Jazz gigs and take the stacked pair to bigger venue gigs. That should provide enough stage volume for me. The Eden WT-300 sends 312 Watts to the 4 ohm, dual cab load. I have yet to really crank them in my Apt, but I do notice that with a fair amount of bass volume, you can't see the 12' driver move at all. Interesting.
I blew out a set of Eden 10's and will never again play 10's (at least 2 of them). I had a little Ampeg PB-112 and it was OK for small gigs, but the Avatars are way more the real deal for Bass appeal.
