Bad Newz Nurshreez

I'm absolutely speechless. Babies fighting dogs? Where's the bearded lady and the 40 clowns falling out of the VW?

It's this kind of willy-nilly, anything goes, let's-have-toddlers-fight kind of attitude that gives Extreme Youth Combat (or whatever your local chapter prefers to call it) a bad name. How are we EVER going to unify the title belts if the records of the fighters are nearly incomparable? Can you here the announcer?

"In this corner, having bested 4 dogs, 3 badgers over 20 lbs and a Shetland pony....."

Embarrasing.

Mike

Badgers???!!! Now that WOULD be crossing the line! But in deference to the Commissioner's wishes, we at Beef Femur will suspend the Inter-Species program fights until he has proper time to review the data. We will however continue to train with the Shetland pony....

Did somebody say badger? :ninja::hiding:

You're sick man...I'm lifting my Northeastern North Carolinian Boycott on the Norfolk Admirals I instated because of you.

Now THAT IS just uncalled for! Especially after they banned our "baby curling club" :spit:

Do you know how hard it is to find good ice time at reasonable rates?

Anyone know anything about this kid? Rumor has it that he's been traveling all over the country on his bike woopin' arse at all the local fights. Someone needs to sign this kid...AND FAST!

There's a reason he's only fighting in locals. That's Billy Brannigan. He's a 33 year old former bricklayer (for short walls only) who has been fleecing some of the smaller events using phony documentation and using his ex-wife to play the part of his "mom".

Last I heard he lost to an actual 20 monther in an unregulated event in Oklahoma and then blew his cover with an expletive laced tirade. The legit organizations here (Cali, Arizona, Oregon and Nevada) all know about him and send his picture to the selection committee whenever fights are being drawn up.

Question for the other trainers out there. You know a good way to get your baby champs to kick the smoking habit?

This is Rocco "Rock You" Vinduli. He's got so much potential, but his smoking is really hurting his endurance. Yesterday, he was unable to complete his daily 4 hour no arms water treading. Unbelievable! We've tried the patches, gum (the whole no teeth thing was a problem), shock therapy...NOTHING WORKS!

Need help.

I think I'm going to be sick...

What I've done in the past is to throw them in with a lighter weight fighter for some sparring. A kid that can stick and move rather than get in and slug it out. After a few minutes the kid will get winded and really take a pounding. If that's not enough to get them to change their ways, then they just don't have the desire it takes to succeed in the sport. Cut your losses and move on.

Oh and by the way, BigO...

The next time one of your fighters pulls a sideline move like this on one of my babies, there will be hell to pay!

People that know me know that I don't condone that kind of extracurricular activity, not from Pete Johnston or any of my other fighters. I only got one side of the story, but from what I hear, it was over a used mobile a few weeks prior. When the deal went bad, Pete decided to get his 10 animal crackers worth out of your fighters hide. Had I seen it at the time I would have canceled his fight. As it stands, believe me, the laps I made Pete crawl after the next training session should guarantee it doesn't happen again. My fighters learn to deal with that kind of crap on their own time.

I was thinking about petitioning the Commissioner for a Weapons Division....

Would you entertain a match with Harold "The Hun" Kowalski?

EDIT: I can't get him sanctioned fights anymore since his fangs came in....
You might be surprised. On the one hand, I abhor the splintered nature of our various chapters and conferences and dream of the day that we can finally sit everyone down at the table and form an international organization with standardized rules, a set season, a televised draft....etc.

On the other hand, the "individual" spirit of the conferences has led to a lot of advances that may never have come to light. Anyone remember the first time you saw an infant boxing match with a little martial arts mixed in? That was unheard of 20 years go. Now, MMA are the standard.

My point in all this is that, provided the fangs are natural and not honed incisors, they are legal in a few areas; most notably the Appalachian Conference (surprised?) and the Florida Panhandle Chapter.

I was a litle hesitant to point you in a directionas I haven't been a fan of some of the other "advances" championed in previous years, but I think that the eventual emergence of a breed with pronounced fangs is inevitable, so getting used to it now might be a good idea.

Mark, obviously I'm not an expert on all of the rule variations, especially those in Europe and Asia....BUT

I find it VERY hard to believe that any set of rules allows for you to super glue 40+ babies to a Navy S.E.A.L. and enter the ring.

Mike

Whats amazing is you didn't comment on his use of big font. :D
