Well... I have some pretty cool stuff going on. While I am on vacation, 1,500 miles from home, I happened upon a local sale only Bag End D12! Well, I bought it, took it directly over to UPS, and shipped her on home!. Then I sent a message to Bag End.. I got a very fast response. The cabinet is actually a D12-C. Loaded with E-12 speakers. Made in 1996. Original owner - Waylon Jennings! How cool is that. I won't be home from vacation for 3 more days and the cabinet will be there before my neck practice, but not next show. More to follow after I get her home and integrated into my system!

Just gave the new cabinet a workout. She really needs power. It needs to be pushed. And responds wonderfully to a pounding. Quiet not much of a cabinet. But tight, clean tone. But when I opened it up (using my DNA 1350 head) it became warm, clean, tight, smooth, and wonderfully loud! At 80 pounds, she is going to be a practice room/recording studio item. Way too heavy to lug around.

A couple days ago I received the PS-15 in birch with a custom neo driver I ordered a couple months ago. While waiting for it I got thinking about what I'll need the rare times I need to push more air. I have a D10X-D I used for years (only stopped a couple years ago because it's 66lbs!). I was thinking I could drag that along on those rare occasions and power it with a Quilter Bass Block.

But, I didn't realize the Minima in the PS-15 was not the same as the Minima One that's pictured in the datasheet for this cab on their site. Before I did I had asked Bag End if it's possible to retrofit the D10X-D with the Minima. Can be done for about $500 + shipping back and forth. Now looking at the Minima 7 (the actual model in the PS-15) it looks like it will be super easy to install in the D10X-D. The faceplate is the same size opening and the amp takes a pretty small amount of space.

Has anyone of y'all tried doing this? Any reason y'all know of it being a bad idea?

I'm going to ask if they'll even sell the Minima parts to DYI the job. Maybe there's a reason they won't.

Hey guys!

Any experience with the S15 and S15B combination? I just got an S15 an love it and am wonder whether to just get a second s15 or maybe an S15B.

I know the deep cab is rather heavy but compared to the fridge it should feel pretty good. I just worry it won't pair well with the small S15.
