Bag End Club.

I have been on the fence for for a hell of a long time regarding the S-10-B. I have only heard one in the wild and that was back in 1991 in a small club in Seattle ( the Rendezvous) . I continually opted for larger cabs. I have the ability to purchase one new cab and I am considering the S-10-B or the S-10N-N. Other than low frequency response which I would probably shelve anyway with an Fdeck would you have a preference?

NICE rig. So 57P, do you ever have to oil the birch (?) Bag Ends, or is it now a solid finish on the nat wood bins?

I was looking at the Genzler head sitting on its' 'Stay Put' pad and wonder if I could go into business selling velcro kits for current lightweight heads !

I just recently received these birch cabinets. I do need to look into proper maintenance.
With regards to the Velcro.. it might be worth looking into. I’m very happy with the bar mat from Amazon.. it rolls up into the amp carry case.
I’m surprised the amp builders have not addressed this with some type of non slip surface on the top of a cabinet.

I wanted to say hello here in the Bag End Club. I'm a past owner and player of S15X-D and S15-D cabs around 2005-6 and still miss those. Currently looking at the PS10N-N, talking with Jim at BE about it and hoping to find a retailer offering a bit of a discount and no sales tax on purchases.

That is a nice looking powered cab! Who has one? I did a search in this thread, and did not find any posts about this particular product.

Back in the day, the D10B(X)-B was fairly popular even though kind of heavy for what it was (a very good bass guitar cabinet).
A few Q10B(X)-B's as well - really heavy.
[Different letters at the end of the model designation.]

The Birch cabs do not have rubber feet but they are sent along with the cabinets
if requested. It’s up to you whether or not you want to use them.
I’ve used them on a few shows and they don’t move.
