Bag End Club.

I have a nice 60w tube head - based on the B15 - and I've used it for guitar with the S15.
Was kind of thinking the 12 would make for a cool guitar rig.

I run a 2x12" with a 40 watt tube head (2x 6L6 and a switchable preamp that can do modern or vintage takes on Fender, Marshall, or Vox tone stacks... almost) for either bass or guitar, and another 2x12" with a 200 watt tube bass head (4x KT88). I play short and long scale basses, 4, 5, 6, and 7 string.

The S12 plus your tube head should be pretty sweet :)

Got my new (to me) 15 cab. Did not get the 12.
Was having a bit of fun last night... two different amps running to the two different cabs.
Also played guitar a bit with the tube amp / S15, and was able to get some great tones.

Actually have a question for the group. -- Maybe better to email Bag End...

Is anyone aware of an easy - drop in - replacement for the input panel on the back. I'd like to change it out so they have at least one Speakon connector.
Before I go and start taking measurements, searching the net, etc... thought someone here might already be in the know.

I have some outdoor gigs coming up and am thinking of running a triple stack of Bag Ends…a pair of S15D cabs and one S15XD. I figured on putting the XD on top, but am now wondering if making it the middle cab might be better? Any thoughts/opinions on tweeter placement from you folks?
You could try it both ways and see what you think.
These are still non-adjustable HF levels right?
I'm not big on a lot of HF, so probably middle for me (if not bottom).

I don’t know about the XD but I’ve run 3 S15 cabs with a GK 800rb. It is a fun rig and sounds great!

Do you like to hear those frequencies? If above 3kHz is a big part of your sound, and you want to hear those, I'd probably start with it on top.
If you are worried that might be a bit much in your ears, then the middle.

I'd probably put it in the middle.
