I rocked a Travis Bean fretless for 40 years. It was a great instrument with a very distinctive voice.
Did our first blueberry picking jaunt of the year on Tuesday. Not quite happening yet where we went, but it should be by early next week.
I'll share this here for anyone who likes food. Sliced apricots, cream cheese, crushed pistachios, fresh mint, and honey. This is a damn good summer treat. I stole this recipe from my friend Rhonda who runs Coffeelands in Clinton, MA. She's the queen of creative bagel sandwiches (I decided to make mine on a wrap in the interest of fewer cals/carbs). If you happen to pass through Clinton stop at Coffeelands and tell the crazy lady with the tattoos (that's Rhonda, one of my lifelong best friends) that some bass player on the intertoobz told you to go eat all her sammiches. 
She also makes a mean strawberry basil bagel sandwich, among others. Anyway- this is good.

Is it really American coffee if the beans come from somewhere else?

This 4 day weekend saw lots of food, family and fun!
Here we have steak bomb and sausage & pepper kabobs just starting to grill
Steak bomb kabobs- white onion, green peppers, steak tips cut to size & coated in coarse stone ground mustard
Sausage & pepper kabobs = sweet Italian sausage & Striped Holland Bell peppers
We did lots of kayaking too!

Having the Ocean State and the Bay State as a playground leads to lots of things centering around swimming, boating, beach going, fishing, etc. I've lived all over this country but New England is my home and I won't leave again, except for vacations!

Yeah,
Having the Ocean State and the Bay State as a playground leads to lots of things centering around swimming, boating, beach going, fishing, etc. I've lived all over this country but New England is my home and I won't leave again, except for vacations!
I had a really great time the last time I went back, including catching a TB GTG in Rhode Island.
