It's fab, I posted about visiting the new factory visitor center a few weeks ago. For being a notorious tourist trap, it's actually really nice.

I lived right around the corner from the original Ben and Jerry's shop for a little while. It was nuts. At the time the University of Vermont snack bar was a lot more popular though. It was part of the agriculture school and they had their own dairy farm. Completely different concept too, really low butterfat content and you could easily polish off a pint without feeling bloated at all.

I love a grilled or toasted curried grilled tuna fish sandwich with my tomato soup. I dip that sucker in the soup

Grilled cheese ... mmmmm sourdough with philly cream cheese as a spread coupled with halved cherry tomatoes and a slice of muenster on top of the tomatoes. A few shakes of dried basil and a splash of olive oil for good measure.

Look at you and your fancy high falutin self.
Cheese, bread, butter, done. Leave it simple and scrumptious.

Last night's jam libation: Breckenridge Vanilla Porter. OK, but it's no Black Butte Porter. Turns out that pFriem Family Brewers is now an unofficial beverage supplier for our regular Fri. night jam, and the jam host doesn't do well with the styles they've comped him, so...

Just IPA and Pilsner so far, which are are the only two they do in cans, and both very good. But hopefully we will see some of their Belgians eventually as well, maybe in growlers. I really need to get over to the brewery, check out some of these offerings: On Tap | pFriem Family Brewers

I hear the food is pretty good too. Hard to even get a table at this time of the year, but I know a guy.
