Tex-Mex is not all that popular around here, which lead to some hilarious episodes when my Texan sister in-law came to visit and wanted to "go out for some Mexican." I enjoyed the food around Houston when we visited there though.
 
High octane espresso... it does a body good! My heart beats like a hummingbird, I can hear colors, smell sounds and see through time :wideyed:

My wife and I took a Community Ed barista class years ago. The guy teaching it told us how no home espresso machine was gonna get it with his coffee. We helped talk him into trying to come up with a decent roast for that anyway, which he did. So then we started talking to our local goat dairy lady...

Sweet. We could really have used something like that in my old fisheries research day job; our in season work hours were nuts and I can't do drip or French press. I have a wonky Italian single boiler deal (Lelit) that needs a steam valve transplant, which I've been putting off until my wife goes out of town for a few days.
