Sepultura were my favourite band as a kid. I can assure you they didn't break up before their time. Roots Bloody Roots indeed... Derrick does a better Inner Self than Max too. Fact.

I can't say I've ever had the urge to "punch a kitten in the face"..but that is prolly one of the funnyest things I've ever heard.
(I do not in any way condone punching kittens in their faces.)
Because unlike most marriages (between two people anyways), a band COULD potentially carry on minus one member who died.
THAT is what's with the "endless listing of bands where people croaked."
Sorry if those distinctions between marriage and bands were not premptively drawn out for you at the outset of the responses.

Yeah, they were pretty darned awesome, everyone ought to give them a listen, his son is an amazing drummer too. A sad loss.
