Barber Linden EQ • New small form factor

Just bought one from Reverb today, it's a version 1, i wanted the compact one.

The only differences is the old one has a push/pull bass knob with the same function as 2 of the 3 "input toggle" switch settings on the new one, and the contour toggle switch on the new one gives one more setting. So basically one new setting on each "switch" (4 total on the old one, 6 on the new one) and the smaller form factor.
I did a lot of testing, and I always fall back to one setting that immediately feels right, set-and-forget. Checked the schematic and manual against the schematic of an Ampeg B15, and that setting was the pure B15 tonestack, which is also available on the older version. For me, the extra settings of the new one have no value, I just want that pure B15 toneshaping.

I have used my Linden eq with my Effectrode LA-1A the last 2 times I have used IEM, and I gotta say it is probably the best IEM tone I've had. I prefer the left switch to the left with a J Bass, and the left switch to the right (mid cut?) with a P bass, but would be more than happy f I left the switch to the left all the time.
Nice! I'm using the LA-1A > Linden combo as well and it just slays when paired with a Quilter BB800.
I'm usually doing the opposite, the left toggle at hard left for a P and at the centre spot for a some mid-cut on a J
Right switch is handy for cutting some low end when I'm using the amp late at night at home and try to keep the sound from travelling.

This really is a great pedal. I like it best into a Solid state amp that's set pretty flat. I am going to try it today with a Class D Mesa TT800. I am actually not counting on it being great because there's already so much going on with the TT's EQ. I'll try to report back here on my impressions of it.
It's high on my list of all time greats. With my Queen Bee and Studio Bass Compressor, it's an excellent little package.

Cool, I also have a Queen Bee....It's great with some basses. I also love my B3K. It's such a great time for Bass players!
Linden with a Mustang, palm muting with a pick sounds great. Not as warm as my previous Fliptop tube head but lots lighter!
The Linden is completely clean, though, is it not? How do you guys get your drive?
No drive that I am aware of with the Linden. Sushi Box Slampegg has similar tones but with drive.
