Had this from '69er owner #1: " I had a practice tonight with the band, which was a great opportunity to spend three hours experimenting with the eq. At first, I was still having problems getting clarity in the low end at volume. With some twiddling on my bass and amp EQs, things were getting better, then I cut the bass eq on the amp and boosted it on the bass and bingo! Big smile on my face. I immediately took a picture of the amp so that I have the settings on record. Basically treble and mid cut, bass eq on amp at 12 o'clock, and a boost of the instrument's bass eq.
I'd describe the tone as clear and even, with a big, smooth low end. Not hifi at all, but with lovely hollow/woody/resonant timbre. I don't know whether this is in line with your opinion or intention, but that's how it seems to me. I'm very happy with it!"
