I leave nothing open to interpretation since Craigslist taught me that TV does not necessarily mean television and CD does not necessarily mean compact disc. Asking about the original box and the jewel case did not help. I cannot imagine trying to explain my problem with g-string down pressure over my nut or the worn slot in my BadAss from too much aggressive picking and slapping.

I usually talk to our soundcrew with some pretty strange metaphors. Luckily, they seem to understand what I'm talking about... These come to mind almost immediately.

"I'm getting a bit too much a** up here"
"Little too much meat blasting around up here"
"Nothing but an earthquake. More of everything else."

Pretty tame compared to the OP, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Let me try to translate.

"Way too much out of these monitor mixes"
"The gain on this is too high"
"I'm getting nothing but a low rumble. Isolate the 60-800 Hz and give me a boost in the whole frequency range above that"

After telling my wife I just bought a new bass head, she asked: "What are you going to do with a 1200W apple fryer?". Um... no honey... that's 'amplifier'. Couple that with the airlines always thinking my bass flight cases are gun cases, you can typically hear me say "go grab the shotguns and the apple fryer" at load-ins and load-outs.
