I have always been a preamp junkie here are some of the of the ones I like and have used in the past.
Mountainking Behemoth II - A very special pedal it adds more volume or width to any bass tone if you can find one grab it it was always on for me.
Sadowsky Pre - One of my favorites it adds some definite warmth and articulation it also has DI capabilities making it an easy purchase decision .
Tube Works Blue Tube -Very warm old school bass tone some have mid controls some don't I prefer the mid control this pedal runs at a high enough voltage to really give it a great tube sound it also responds well to different tubes.
Fuzzrocious BDPG - A pedal that you know immediately when it's off I personally think it's the best pedal they offer because there isn't a bad setting on this pedal it was always on for me and was a important part of my sound.

Electronix Submarine - One pedal that I searched years to find and it didn't disappoint it adds instant smiles to any bass tone there's a reason why the originals are so coveted.
F Bass Big F preamp- It's a 18v monster think of a Sadowsky Pre on steriods it gives your tone a big full sound the tone controls are very responsive.
SFX Sounds AY2u (Nathan East NE-1 clone) This is a clone of another pedal I love it sounds identical to the original with a few more twists and it's pedal board friendly. I was skeptical at first because I love my Nathan East pedal but this pedal had me at the first note from my bass I still don't know how that sound was stuffed in this small of an enclosure?.

Nathan East NE-1- It's one of those "wow" pedals I liked it so much I bought two of them the only problem it is not pedal board friendly and is battery only but it can be modded for external power. My favorite setting was Deep with the frequency around 10.
Swell (any pedal in the B series) - These pedals are very well built and can give you anything from warm volume to tube amp type grit they are built like tanks and respond well to different brands of tubes they are currently being made under the Myco brand name same great pedal that's worth a test drive.
Tech 21 VT Bass v2 - There's a reason why they sell so many of these pedals they offer a wide range of tones and are very affordable. I recommend the second version of this pedal it has some notable improvements over the original.It covers anything from warm to tube grit if you don't like having a lot of pedals this one will cover all basses.
Eden WTDI Preamp - Super warm pedal I used it for Jazz,Classic Rock and R&B it's one of the best bang for your buck pedals out there. I recommend this pedal if you have a small inexpensive practice amp that you want to sound like a very expensive practice amp it can improve the sound of any amp.
Markbass Super Booster - I love this pedal it's a quick and easy way to get that Markbass sound. I haven't tried the new smaller version but if it sounds anything close to it's bigger brother it's worth a look for sure. I like the fact that "VLE" and "VPF" controls have a very large range a little turn goes a long way. The only downside is it's very large size.

3Leaf audio The Enabler - This pedal can literally do anything you ask of it and if you have limited room in your gig bag this is the pedal you need it's very well built and sounds phenomenal last time I checked it was discontinued it was pricey new but well worth the price of admission

Lights on the Way Out Tube Pre - This is a little known phenom of a pedal it can warm up any solid state signal. I used it for recording because it is so quiet it also reacts well to different brands of tubes.It's technically considered a clean boost but I used it as a preamp and it worked very well.
Fodera 2011 Preamp Pedal - This little 18v beast is a must try for any bassist that doesn't have a Fodera bass in their arsenal l love,love this pedal Mike Pope is a mad genius and this pedal is my second favorite. The only downside is it's pricey if you can find one used at a decent price don't hesitate grabbing it.
Rusty Box - I liked the Rusty box but I used it as an effect rather than a always on preamp it has a very unique sound and when it's disengaged you know it immediately.
Meat smoke - Last but not least this handmade two channel beauty from Verellen is ridiculous sounding it sounds so good that if I ever had a fire it's the first thing I'm grabbing even before my clothes.
The only downside is that it is very pricey for a pedal but in my opinion well worth saving up for. It also comes in a rack version and Ben at Verellen backs this pedal for life.
