Just orders a set of DR Nickel Lo-riders. Years ago I loved the stainless steel ones on my Ibanez ATK. Curious to see how the nickels will sound on my fretless. I wish you all the best Jason.

Sad news, indeed. BSO has been fantastic in all regards: customer service, selection, prices, and resources (like winding lengths). I'm sorry to see this chapter come to an end.
I actually just came on to find the “my experience with BSO” thread and this one pops up.
I don’t buy strings very often, but BSO is the only place I get them. I’m in Australia and recently ordered 3 sets of strings. They were delivered to my door in just under 2 weeks for about 60% of the cost in Australia.
Wonder if theres any Genzler amps going cheap……

Awww maaannnn - I don't need to buy strings often, but I think I've bought all my Chromes from Jason over the last couple years. Man, I'm sorry to see you go.
Sad to hear, haven't gotten strings anywhere else in a few years, I did stumble onto another site awhile back, but I didn't even bother looking to closely, nor bookmarking it since I was so happy with BSO...

I have been buying only from BSO since they opened Just got a shipped order message today . Had no Idea he was closing. Great loss to the bass community it is always a sad thing to lose a Business that was so customer oriented . Thank you for all your great service .
