Still going on the beard since 2014! Why stop now? I decided covid time was a good time to grow out my mohawk. That's at about 6 inches long now. Top of my head is around 3ft ^_^

I’d love to join this club. Recent get together at a local antique shop for Tuesday nights “pick n play” . I found out that acoustic basses should be plugged in if there are more than 2 guitars lol.

What acoustic is that?
For unplugged I have found GHS phosphor bronze pressure wounds to be quite loud with minimal string squeak.
For situations where I must plug in no matter what I favor LeBella or D’addario tape wounds.

It’s a Dean EABC. I got it as an inexpensive grap n go for “porch” jam sessions. It as a pickup and pre-amp which I’ve since found out can be handy.

I have the same bass as a 2013 model that has been modded by the previous owner with a prener preamp that includes connection to the piezo as well as an internal MIC. Very big body, but quite surprising for such an inexpensive ABG.
