Bassmasta....gone??

I wonder what's going to happen to forum sites like this one that have a tablature section? You think the tablature forum will end up shut down? I mean we can't have people asking for, or encouraging the use of, something illegal right?
The bull of the situation is that more than half of the stuff on Bassmasta isn't even in print!!!
I Immortal has never released a book of their song tabs, or Death, or Blind Guardian, or Bolt Thrower...Need I go on? I think not. Mainstream, or at least pseudo-mainstream, are constantly releasing tab books. There are no tab books out there for the dedicated, or at least pseudo-dedicated, metalhead!

Maybe they just waited for the heat to come off, and are hoping people stop advertising the fact it's back up so the big wigs reading forums like this don't find out again.
Or maybe the admins on bassmasta can actually afford the legal advice to discover the big wigs actually don't have a leg to stand on

fretplay.com is still up and running! but yeah, i loved bassmasta. thats why guys, if you get ahold of a tab, save it to your hardrive and quick!

They are so stupid. Tabs help the music industry. People buy more albums and musical equipment.
The way i see it, those of us who use, defend and write tabs need to use ultimate-guitar.com and those of us who have more memory on the computer than in the head need to download and save tabs just in case ultimate guitar goes down too

I have just started using BassMasta, and was wondering if anyone knows if it's still possible to upload tabs. I can't see where to do that on the site right now.

I say go to 911tabs.com for all your tabbing needs. It hasn't gotten shut down because its just a search engine, linking to tabs from different websites.
actually a lot of the bass tabs on bassmasta.net are still working for me... but almost none of the guitar tabs.
