And, re-reading this, are you looking to add an additional powered sub or is the B2 the powered sub you're adding? Either way the powered sub will have som internal xover alreay in place. Should be plug and play. Just adjust the sub level on the sub itself to balance to yoru liking. Something like a kSub is ideal for such things.
They need a new video because that’s not what I see when I open the app to the xr18
It was suggested to me that without the crossover the Bose may compress the sound because of the volum and the low fequincies.
I have to think Bose took all that into account. And as far as the video is concerned while the XAir version may be different the theory and application is the same. Just adapt it to your version.
Bose really doesn’t promote using othe brands with their stuff, the would rather I buy two more setup but it would work. You’re right about the video, I just can’t seem to find what I’m looking for when I try it.
One more thing, if you start putting an xover in front of the B2 it looks like you're going to leave a hole in the range this would normally cover vs where your L1 start. They are meant to be paired it would seem.

I'm suggesting that if you're using the Bose system top with the mating Bose system sub, that you use them as designed and hook them up per the manuals instructions and let them work their magic. No other fussing required.
I did just that, but I added the external powered sub to the aux, and I can control the level post main. So as I adjust the overall levels of the Bose the sub will stay where I set it. End game is I don’t need a crossover
I got a quick problem guys. And I know someone will find the video that explains it. But I am having difficulty getting audio from my laptop, through USB, to play through the main outs on my XR18. I know there is some "routing", but the videos from Behringer must be an older version because I don't see on my screen what they show...
To clarify, all I want to do is: record one or more instruments, via the XR18 into my laptop (over USB), and then PLAY BACK that recorded audio (over USB) through the XR-18 and out my PA (or IEMs or whatever). This second part is just not working. It's playing back, but no sound comes out of my speakers.

USB audio input. Just guessing from memory here. In the input screen of a channel, there you can change the channel input from A/D mic/line to USB. I think you can also specify which USB channel to use. Are you using the Behringer USB drivers on the computer? It has the option to use either 2 or 18 channels of USB audio.
As I understand t USB playback will always be on USB channels 1 & 2. Go to channel 17/18 and on the input set those to USB. Then go to routing and map 17/18 to USB 1/2. Should work.
Since I got a lot of good help on this thread I’ll ask this question here. Can I use two subs the same size and brand but different models. The gig I have coming up the place is bigger than I thought so one sub is really not going to do it. I have access to another but it’s a different model. One is a Derwin Vega P1800sx the other is the CVX 18S
Since the XR18 doesn’t power anything, you can set it up however you like. You have options.
If you connect your mains through your subs, run your left output to one sub and your right output to your right sub and chain the tops through the subs.
If you want to use the aux outs for each sub, feel free.
If you start running out of aux sends, you can always double yo on a channel. For example, daisy chain the floor wedge for the drummer and bassist together so they share the same mix.
You are limited by your own craftiness...
I'm not familiar with the specs on your subs, but I would contact Cerwin Vega support to find out how those two models work together. It's possible for a slight delay on one that does not exist on the other. If they are a little out of phase, you might have frequency cancellation that would defeat the purpose of using both.
I finally got it figured out. I didn't realize that I had to "give up" an input to assign to the incoming USB signal. Also, it was defaulting to "USB xx" instead of "USB #1". Once I changed that it's now working. Thanks!
I did this and was told it would be fine, just dial back on the P1800. I also decided to get the CVE 12s. I’ll get the another CVE sub next month. I’ll save the bose for gigs I don’t need that much punch. Thanks for your help.
Hey guys, I haven't looked at the thread in a while but I was wondering if my drummer can use his computer running ez drummer and some triggers into my xr18 and split all of his drums into separate channels so we can have individual control of it for live sound purposes. I know I can do that as far as recording goes when I'm using Reaper but I'm wondering if I can do that with just the Behringer software for Live use.
The issue at our last show is that he's running what he calls a hybrid setup. His computer only has two outputs and then he has a separate little unit with like six pads and I think it only has two outputs too. I'd like to get it to where everything could be on its own channel so we can tweak the mix completely.
