I just picked up box 0107 from Long and Mcquade today. Can't wait to plug it in. I would think its the only one in Vancouver B.C.

Loving my NV212. I've gigged it a few times and the spring/summer season is here and I plan on really giving it a workout. As for the tone, it's very much like its bigger brother but a little more mid forward. I'd suspect this is because of the coupling of those (4) 12 inch speakers on the 412 producing prodigious amounts of low end.
This isn't a bad thing for the 212, I can EQ in all the low end I need and that cab cuts like a mutha.

Picked up an NV212T and used it on a gig tonight. It was really good. Just incredibly punchy. Killer tone. That is all.

And your playing it through a prodigy!? I'm a huge fan and miss that head. I imagine that would make for a mind blowing combination.

Nope, driving it with a B|Amp. Hey, aren't you the guy that bought and refinished that CXL310? I would love one of those things - I used to have a pair of the 110 cabs. So good...

Yep! My CXL 310 is like new after the refin. It's a very cool cab... I call it my 'stationary cab' because it's a beast to move! It pretty much only lives in our jam space. I had a pair of vl110's as well until I got the HG310 which replaced the VLs and a barefaced retro two10.
The voicing of the HG310 kinda 'does it all' for me! It sounds great dialed clean and neutral on my EUB or driven hard stacked with OD in my rock band. It's always so punchy and controlled with just the right amount of character sound great in any situation!
FWIW, while some guys feel it's about the same volume as a ported 210... I find it to be louder (and more forceful overall) than my CN210 which makes sense having the 3rd driver. I'm of the opinion that it's noticeably louder (and punchier) when you get cranking. However, it's still not as loud as my cxl310... with a powerful head, that cab is a beast!
Well for sure, your cabinet is one more so it cranks to 11. Lol
Finaly pulling cab #107 out of the box tonight, yes Pat the prodigy will be putting the watts to the cones.
I will post soon, i got a feeling its going to be good. GTG sounds like a plan.

Finally unwraped the NV 212 T and ran a Mesa Prodigy tube head through the cabinet tonight, the bass was a Modulus Quantum 5.
What blows me away with the Bergantino cabs is how clean and articulate they sound. Tons of low end, clear mids and clean highs.
I have always used 210 cabs so the 212 will take some adjusting. What i noticed right away, is if you add a little bass, wow, filled the room with low end, in a good way. Not sure if it's the sealed cab or the 12 inch speakers or a combo of both. Fantastic, neighbors definitely will be hearing/ feeling it.
Very impressed and happy with the cab for the brief time i have played it.
Would love to take it out on a gig, guess i will have to put the band back together. Lol
I will run a class D head Mesa D800+ through it tomorrow, i am sure it will sound fantastic as well. The Smith BSR 5, and koa Kinal 5 will also be getting a taste.

... but I am very interested in this NV212T. I have an NV610 (older model no tweet
) for that old school punch in the gut sealed 6x10 tone, but I hardly ever take it out these days because it's really just too much cab for most gigs I do these days. My CN212 gets 95% of the playing time with a few different amps (Mesa WA, Demeter VTBP-M-800DJ). But, I do miss the sealed cab punch at times and have been thinking that if the NV212T does what it seems it should, I could easily replace my NV610 and have more sealed cab goodness, more often. I could even run it hoizontally and put my Fender Studio on top of it like a later-day, but more kick-ass Bassman 212 rig.
These days I almost always have solid FOH and am trying to organize my stage rig so it puts a smile on my face, but also does not blow out the stage sound and FOH balance. The CN212 works great, but as I said, it does not hit quite the same way as the NV610 can.
