Best Amp for 2 Bergantino AE112

That is really subjective, not objective. What sounds great to me might not suit your tastes, and vice-versa.

Having said that, I have a Bergie EX112 (old, not ER), and I wouldn't part with it for anything. I use a Shuttle6.0 with it, put the whole thing on an amp stand for stage monitor, and I love it and the sound guys seem to love it, too. Not much bleed-over into vocal mics, very tight bass, great mids and highs.

But, try out a dozen heads with it and get the one YOU like, not the one(s) I (we) like.

A friend of mine uses two of these with an LM2 and gets fine results, playing with quite a full band - 2 guitars and a sax - on some big stages. With the AEs I think you cannot go past Markbass, I have an HT112ER which might be a little better suited to the shuttle than to the MB I use with it although it still does a great job.

Don't mean to argue or w/e but the HT112ER is not suitable with the shuttles.. IMO The shuttles just doesn't push the low end extension of the ER's and it sounds like its anemic or close to being anemic..

He is talking about two AE112's. I misread that as AE212 also, and erased my post.

To the OP, the Genz 9, the Markbass F500 and the Genz Shuttle Max 6 would all sound great for your tone goals (which I assume are reasonably brite, tight, and punchy) with that very nice stack. All three of these heads have a nice punch to them, plenty of power to drive that stack to full volume, and a nice top end if you slap or like that 'hear the windings on the B string' sort of grind.

If the F500 didn't work so well for my tone goals, I'd be powering my AE212 with a Shuttle Max 6.

The Markbass F500 pairs up very well with two AE112's. This is a very balanced, solid combination. For a bit more lively response the Mesa/Boogie M6/9 pair up very well with these cabs. If you want a more warm/round, but still articulate tone, the Mesa/Boogie WalkAbout is great. The GK MB500 and MB Fusion can also work well, but we are talking some serious upper mid to high end cut and bite (which may or may not be your thing).

About the weight of the amp, I dont have problem with this...

I would like to try many options but the city that I live in Brazil is very dificulty to find.... so, I have to import, and in this case your suggestions is very important for me.

I would like to buy the best option, unfortunatly I cant try before...

And about GK1001RBII?

The F500 is the best option from Marbass to my cabs?

Hard to say what is 'best'. The F500 is clean and punchy... nice for a modern tone without being overly sizzly up top, or huge down low.

Not sure what your electric deal is down there... if it is 110, then the Markbass stuff from the US is fine. However, if you are 220, then you would have to go with something else, or get a Markbass amp from the EU, since the voltage is 'fixed' on the Markbass amps.

Given you are importing, and again assuming you want a somewhat modern, relatively clean sound for the type of music you play, the Genz Shuttle 9 or Shuttle Max 6 might be the best bet. That Shuttle Max 6 is really cool if you are comfortable with all the knobs... really nice EQ, LOTS of tone, nice power, decent price and 110/220 safe. And if you ever have a problem, the Genz guys in the US would take care of you big time.

The GK stuff is cool also, and the 1001 sounds great... has that 'GK grind and aggressiveness'.

I have 2 AE112's and although I do not stack them often, I use a Shuttle 6.0. I used an LMII and LMIII before that which I also liked but the Shuttle has that tubey goodness that I wanted. I need /want micro heads for easier toting and that influenced my choice quite a bit.
I am very happy with the Shuttle. So much so that I traded my LMIII for another bass. I will probably get another Shuttle 6.0 as a spare somewhere down the line.
I also hook the Shuttle to a GB410 at the church and that is terrific as well.

It sounds very good... fat, warm, smooth. It doesn't hit quite as hard as the F500, and I kind of like the tighter voicing of the F500 with the 112's. However, for clean fingerstyle playing and a touch of old school tone, the LMII/III and the AE112's or AE212 is cool. For slapping or aggressive playing, I ended up needed a little bit more punch, which the F500 gave me. IMO there.

the WT550 can turn this stack into an aggressive beast
but with a turn of one knob can also mellow it out

I found the "enhance" on Eden is great at neutralizing that up-mid in the AE cabs when you don't want it.
