This thread and the looming nuptials have the Mrs. and me so sentimental that we got out the wedding album.

I digitized a shot to share with you lot.

May you all the find the same happiness in life that has offered us such sustenance. Her especially.

Yeah, you look good man. I like the short sleeves. It’s very utilitarian of you.

Thanks! The shirt was ten bucks, kind of a lot, but it was a banner day when I married "my" Meghan.

Call me traditional, but I believe Larry Graham's Moon is the best bass for any wedding. The gold hardware ups the ante for the "Royal" wedding.

For a Metal Wedding, the Steve Harris P-bass would take the cake!

Larry Graham is the best bass player for a wedding. Sid Vicious isn't.

You are a lovely couple, royal indeed, if I do say so myself.

Like most of you, I'll be sitting in front of my TV on Saturday, lapping up every detail of the royal wedding, and dutifully playing along on my practice rig.

Question is: P or J? Which bass is more suitable for the occasion?

Please, no anti-royalist rants. Just some help in selecting the right tool for the job.

P-Bass already has a long established tradition with marking royal occasions.

You know it makes sense
