OMG! Harry isn’t marrying the German Chancellor - is he?! :roflmao:
Frau Merkel is much too intelligent for that.

She majored in Physics at Karl Marx Institute, Leipzig and completed her dissertation in Quantum Chemistry at the Academy of Sciences (Dissertation: Investigation of the mechanism of decay reactions with single bond breaking and calculation of their velocity constants on the basis of quantum chemical and statistical methods; 1986). She speaks fluent Russian as Putin does German. Their summit meeting used translators which gave them time to come up with replies as they understood each other perfectly well in each other's language.

This thread and the looming nuptials have the Mrs. and me so sentimental that we got out the wedding album.

I digitized a shot to share with you lot.

May you all the find the same happiness in life that has offered us such sustenance. Her especially.

The look on your face says you view her as a viable, long lasting food source for when TEOTWAWKI arrives!

Like most of you, I'll be sitting in front of my TV on Saturday, lapping up every detail of the royal wedding, and dutifully playing along on my practice rig.

Question is: P or J? Which bass is more suitable for the occasion?

Please, no anti-royalist rants. Just some help in selecting the right tool for the job.

Choose well.
If your selection causes displeasure your twig and berries could end up as a doorknocker on the Tower of London!

This thread took an unexpected direction, didn't it?

That's putting it mildly.
Despite the OP's belief that 'most' of us will be watching the big event, I certainly won't.
Lack of interest, and being at work at the time being the main reasons.
Also this thread is waaaaay more interesting than I believe the royal event could ever be.:)
