Best beer for practicing bass!

I'm posting this here because we're mixing bass and booze. . . . . Back around 1984-85, I sipped a mixed alcoholic drink from the same cup as Jaco; yes THE Jaco. No excrement!!! I signed up for a lesson with him (his "agent" at the time, THE Jerry Jemmott no less, placed an ad in the Village Voice newspaper to the effect that Jaco was giving private lessons) that would take place right before his gig at the, now closed, Lone Star Cafe in NYC. At the appointed time I came up to his table, where he was having dinner with his wife, to introduce myself, and he immediately handed his cup over to me and said something to the effect of "here, have a drink". The lesson itself started about 15 minutes later, after he was done with dinner. Also way cool is that I briefly got to play one of his (his only?) fretted J basses... OK then, let's hear from all the non-believers and skeptics.
