MXR M82 Envelope Filter. There are certainly more useful and versatile pedals, and possibly better Envelope filters but it's the only pedal I've become attached to.

I realize there are SO many effects pedal makers out there now and I'm sure not familiar with all of them, but God Help Me, I got to ask ( . . . . and the question sounds suitably ludicrous . . . .): What is a Broke Dick, and what effect does it add ?

(Whew . . . . I was going to ask 'what does a Broke Dick do' . . . but it wound up on the cutting room (!) floor . . . .)

Fuzzrocious Broke Dick Peanut Gallery BDPG is @rratajski souped up take on the long missing Zeibek Submarine bass preamp making it into a dirty channel or overdrive. This is a ltd. ed. V2 with the added post gain stage for more flexibility with glow in the dark paint.

Oh yeah, totally. For the 5th anniversary, montreal assembly released an entirely new firmware w 3 new effects to choose from, called the "nightly" firmware. They are all pretty awesome too. I ended up snagging a 2nd Count to 5 so I could enjoy all 6 effects. I mostly got a second one cause I invested SOOOO much time learning the OG firmware that I didn't want to throw all that knowledge and work away. I haven't committed the time to the newer firmware mostly cause when I try to learn it, I get lost in playing around.

How is the Phase 100? How does it it sit in a mix? I love phasers and have been curious to try it.

I love it! It doesn’t have any problems sitting in the mix and it also keeps a good amount of low end, I wouldn’t trade it for any other Phaser! It kicked my chorus off the board and sometimes gets stepped on instead of the envelope filter, that’s how funky it is

Love to hear that, will be on the lookout for a used one for sure. I use the Mr. Black Gilamondo and it also kicked my chorus off the board, so long Sea Machine! It has a deep envelope-like sound that can get really funky, with a Bad Stone-esque phase shift park option. I'll never trade this one. If you happen to see one listed somewhere, I def recommend it!
