The off-white one on the left looks EXACTLY like the one I had in the 80s, and still beat myself on a regular basis for letting go some 20 years ago. Great basses!

I am 99% sure that Lakland makes short scale basses.

Might want to check in with them.

They do. The USA Decade (way too pricey for me) and the Skyline Hollowbody 30 (not my style, and non-contoured so a no-go for me anyway).

I'd love a Skyline Decade shorty but alas the only overseas Decade they offer is a 34". Shame.

Aw, sorry to hear. Have you to tried to do a little arm-twisting and describe to them exactly what you are looking for? Or does "no" mean "no" in this instance?

I asked if they had considered a Skyline Decade short scale and they responded they have no plans to offer such a thing. Which seems crazy in my opinion. I would buy one in a heartbeat and I'm sure plenty of others would too. Sure seems a better idea than the Skyline Hollowbody 30 they're selling.
