Best phaser for bass

Cool, well I might be able to snap one up on ebay for a good price. I mean, I'd *really* like to try out an EBS Dphaser but those things are like $240! Madness! Maybe a slightly more subtle setting on the Phase 100 would work if you want to pair it with chorus....but I'm just thinking out loud here.

so I recently went on a phaser spree and tried about the following: (some of which I've tried before):

MXR Phase 90
MXR Phase 90 EVH
MXR Phase 100
Boss PH-1R
Boss PH-2 (with mods)
Boss PH-3
Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter
EBS DPhaser
Wounded Paw P90
Moog Phaser
Subdecay Baby Quasar
Subdecay Quasar Deluxe
Heavy Electronics Morphine Dream

my fav is the Quasar Deluxe! (soooo many awesome tones!)

so long story short I'm getting one once I get some funds

I also went on a mini-spree and bought 6 phasers. I did some comparative recording, check out the thread. I'll probably be revealing which is which later today, I think a few people will be surprised, I know I was.

Please check it out and comment...

I also made the clean recordings downloadable, so if anybody wants to run it through other phasers, I'll add those to the OP also.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I`d chime in anyway.
I was using a vintage Phase 45 on bass,I really enjoyed it except:
1) it was vintage,a bit fragile and was passed down to me from my dear old dad. So I didn`t want to add any more wear n` tear to it.
2) it was only 9 volt powered. total pain in my a$$

Now I`m looking at either a Grand Orbiter or the Malekko Omicron Phase pedal.
The Malekko is both smaller and a bit cheaper.
What do you guys think?

My 4 favorites are:
Phase 90 - simple and sounds great! w/wo mids-mod (both are cool, the EVH Phaser has a button for switching between both)
VFE Enterprise - on the guitar board, so many options in one little package, like a hot-rodded phase 90
INFANEM Compact Faye Sing - there is a new version out!
SubDecay Quasar DLX - discontinued, but my current phaser of choice.

I've had my eye on that bad boy...soon...

I've been a fuzz > phaser > wah guy for about the last 15 years.
Tried a whole heap of phasers in that time, and cloned a few, built one into a wah enclosure etc etc.

I prefer the Keeley 6-stage phaser.
I liked it more over the Quasar DLX and the other boutique phasers I've tried, especially as the ramp feature makes the pedal the most useful pedal on stage I've ever used.
I found the Quasar a bit too subtle for me, I like a thick phase tone. The *edge* feature is a very useful touch if you play with flats too.
My other fave is the old-school big box Small Stone for the same reason, nice and thick > has a better tone than the Nano I tried a while back.
