Tool has a lot of good riffs for headbanging/Keenan-Krabbing. Especially on 10,000 Days and Lateralus.
One of my favorite songs has multiple great riff's buy the riff master Keef along with great riff's in the rhythm section, Bill, Brian and Charlie on the live version of Sympathy For The Devil from Get your Ya Ya's out.

I was thinking the intro of "No More Tears"
And then I remembered the first time I was at practice at my church. I was warming up and was muted at the board. So I am playing around with different riffs, and was going through the intro and they unmuted me. I was still playing and then one of the guitar players started playing along, drummer joins in and shortly after the ladies singing backups suddenly start rocking out too!!

I knew then, I was in the right place.

Nice stuff. And the Zep "riffs" like "Black Dog" also fit my criteria. I'm not talking about cool simple basslines, though sometimes that works.
On that note, Ox's riffs in "My Generation" are pretty great.

I'll also toss out the first riff in Dave Davie's solo on the Kinks' "You Really Got Me".
