I too have to go with the late Ronnie Jame Dio just an amazing singer. He rocked your butt off with Holy Diver and come back with a beautiful ballad like Rainbow Eyes with a voice you'd hear in Church

And, considering Ronnie got his start as a singer, bass player and trumpet player with some doo wop, early rock and roll groups.
It was Ozzy himself that said the greatest voice in rock and roll was Noddy Holder

Lots of great singers listed but a few grave omissions...Noel Redding deserves a spot NO DOUBT.....Amazing and expressive voice. How about Gary Brooker (might have been mentioned) and fellow bass player felix Pappalardi.....Nothing against the modern bands but those guys could really sing.
