You're right, that bass sound really worked in that song. I'm from the Midwest and there are certain groups (Head East, Shooting Star, Starcastle, etc.) that only seemed to get airplay around the middle of the country.... with some killa bass sounds!

Paul Goddard's solo on "Another Man's Woman" is something I've "borrowed" for years and years. Don't know if THAT was his Ric, but that was one HELLUVA melodic, dynamic bass solo.;

I thought "Ric with Rotos" at first..
But I remember seeing them live a few times....Think he always was playing Fender.....

My custom- basically a combination of a Jazz and a Thumb. Always sounds like me, no matter what I play through. Never thought I'd say it before I got this bass, but I have not had the urge to buy or even investigate other basses since 1997ish.
