I'd look for something else. That one's kinda scratched up :OlI really like the LaBella Gold Flats. I just don't want to keep flats on me Wilkins p/j all the time. Maybe I need another bass just for flats. Maybe an Olinto like this:

Mine sound like perfectly broken in rounds, and they've been on for 8 months, with no discernible change in toneFlats: EB Cobalt (flats for people who think they don’t like flats)

Yes to Dunlop’s. Stainless Super Bright Marcus Miller’s. Stay nice and zingy. I like zingy. Second DR LO RIDER STAINLESS.Dunlop Super Bright Nickels sound zingy at first, but dull down beautifully once they get a little played in.
Also called the end all be all of bass strings.
