I'll take the one on the right!

Wait... this isn't the chicks at gigs thread! :(

Now that doesn't look like that will hold up to being regularly gigged and I'd expect quite a bit of road wear to be showing up after a few months. You know, general scuffs and scratches from being used in practice and gigs at diners, pubs and clubs. You would not want the road crew taking responsibility for handling this one. But, looks great, the size is just about right.

On the other hand you must be joking about that being a functioning bass cabinet.

Hahahahahahaha!

$2400???!! Yes... right. er what made you price it at $2400? Seemed like a round number but not as crass as $2500. Is that based on any known business model, marketing positioning, casy and margin analysis. No - it's just a good number.

Get real guys it's some ply and a chassis. Ply, screws, handles and paint - $100 tops, 21" Precision Devices 1000 watt chassis - about $700. That's it $800 + labor.

Course delivery's gonna cost you $1000 if it's more than two blocks away!

I love it! I'm in the wrong business if these sell at $2400. Tell me what I'm missing? That I need a dockside warehouse if I make more than 3 a week?

I went and weighed it.
175lbs.
I am thinking about replacing the 12's with neos. Eminence doesnt sell a 16 ohm 12" neo (already contacted them) So I guess my next stop is paragon, or maybe an oem version?
After all the GK 4X12 neo is 4 ohms.
I checked the GK site and they want $180 for their paragon 16 ohm 12" neos.
So yeah, maybe get it down to 135lbs.

I may take some time to strip the tolex off and stain it with some minwax or tung oil. Ditch the other extra fittings and replace the useless handles with a "towel bar" or some folding handles.

From your earlier posts, you're trying to get the 4 12" drivers to work out at 4 ohms in total, is that correct?

If so, you can do it with 4 ohm or 16 ohm drivers. 4 ohm neos seem fairly common.

A subpar pic of my guitarist, my rig and myself at a recent show. I'll post a better one sometime soon. It's a Peavey Max 700 head with a 2x15 Traynor cab. I want one of those 3620s so bad. My dream rig atm would be 1 3620 and a Peavey 2x15. However, I'm thinking about getting a 2x10 or a 4x10 cab right now.

Am I in? :)

can i join the club?
Very nice!
Hey count me in!
Okay!
hey do i qualify to join?
Yep!
I don't quite get it? My main rig wouldn't cut it, it would be too small? But my practice rig would qualify? So one way or another may I have banned member #2?
Yes. This is the "Big Cabs Club" not the 'big rig club' - look for the 'Rigs of Doom' threads, to see if you qualify there... The 1820 sounds awesome! No, you may not ban yourself - only the King of the Big Cabs Club can do that...
Got myself a new Acoustic 8x10! Love it, count me in!
Okay!
I will get my pics up soon. But count me in for
Current cab: Mesa Powerhouse 1000 (road ready) 150 lbs
Former: Various ampeg 8x10's, Peavey 3620, Peavey 4x15.
Nice, you know what bass is all about!
I'm in:
Home made 6x10...weight = approx. 1 hundred and "Oh My God" lbs.
Very nice.
...a 2x15 Traynor cab. Am I in? :)
Yep. I used to wear one of those masks (a "pro-mask") while driving an M1A1 tank...
Signing up .
EBS NEO 810.
Very nice.
