Oh, I totally dig freak customers, as long as they don't waste my time. Potty humor? A necessity of life for me. I'd miss the discount but I don't have the time to ride anymore, so no biggie.

So I walk into the LBRS a month ago. My old Joe Blow's head is leaking badly and falling off the presta. So I say's to the kid - "You got the part's to fix this ? I'm tired of one handed pumping"

... I thought I was going to have to administer CPR on him ... I may have pre-qualified myself on 1 & 2 inadvertantly.

Speaking of #3 ... anyone know where I can get a nice, non retail deal on a pair of Specialized BG pro's in 44. Out of stock locally. My feet have finally spread to a very non-Sidi shape so a wide toe box is in order and those seem like pretty decent shoes from the ones I've scoped.

Got a seat, helmet, and a pump.

The seat made a hell of a difference. Ride was a blast now. Should do me good to able to really exercise on my running off-days.

I expect it's more to do with end of the season and not wanting to re-stock. I can probably score in Portland. If I find a set you want I should tip you off ?

I've been a long time Sidi guy and kinda had my nose up at the BG stuff. That was whack! Those BG Pro's seem to be right on par ...

Stupid-sounding kinda-of-topic question...

Last night, I swear that I put up a response to 4Mals's asking about Spec. BG shoes, suggesting that he look at Carnacs. That post should be on this page and #572-573 or so...does anyone remember seeing this post? I'm not bitching that I've been edited, BTW, I'm wondering if this has anything to do with a server problem occurring on a different forum that I'm staff on. I realize that the chances of this being connected to a totally different site are basically 0.000, but seriously weird stuff is happening Over There, and we're trying to chase down any possibility, however unlikely it may be.
