I am so tempted to order a C bass this weekend. I need another bass like a hole in the head, but I just know I'll acquire one at some point.

I’ve owned an Gibson SG Bass and Fender Mustang. Been eyeing a Birdsong for about two years. I’m in a good spot and with the sale he has going on, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Yes, I realize this is a bass forum, but I couldn't resist Scott's big sale and ordered a companion 6-string guitar for my Especial II Scott built for me earlier this year. Completely customized and at a great sale price too. We talked at length about the build and Scott had some great suggestions. I think it's going to be quite nice. Now I just have to wait until April of next year.
Couldn’t wait until Monday. I called Scott and claimed one of the bodies for my build he had in his inventory. He calls it Warpaint. Thanks for letting me know about that. Gives it a little more uniqueness.
Oh man, I'm so tempted by one of Scott's guitars. I have a guitar from a few years back made by Jake, who was an incredible luthier. It's an amazing chambered body instrument, though I do prefer Scott's solid body design.
I have 3 of Jakes guitars, he is/was an incredibly talented luthier, I wish he would go back to building full time.
I also had a Birdsong guitar at one point, it was a great instrument as well, a little less "refined" maybe....but still awesome.
What else have you purchased since then and what are most happy with? I bought a similar Corto this summer and love it. I am now debating having my Warmoth 32" Jazz shipped to a luthier for Plek'ing or using a local guy to dress the frets, as it just doesn't play as well as the Birdsong. I've gone through the whole setup process but it still doesn't compare.
If I may chime in with my $0.02...
I've owned both the Corto2 and Fusion models, and while they are both great basses, nothing has come close to the CBass for me. Such an iconic sound mixed with the Birdsong build quality. The pickup can get pretty agressive when the tone is all the way open and the volume maxed, and it warms up real nice if you roll either back.
From my experience it cuts through the mix better than the others too. Band members and sound techs have all been really impressed with the CBass.
No problem! Obviously a lot comes down to preference, but man does Scott nail that P bass tone!
To much, honestly, haven't really sold a lot. I had a couple five strings, and a six string (bass) that I didn't bond with, but that was only because I'm a four string guy at heart.
I would have to agree with the C-Bass though, it's a winner, completely NAILS it. Don't even think about putting roundwound strings on it, the flats are just so perfect.

Scary, true - even a horror (but this is almost Halloween). A saleswoman grabbed it up and also loved it. I don't think they knew much about it. At least I had a chance to play it and it is everything I hoped it would be.
Edit: In retrospect, they should have just given it to me.
