Double Bass Blast cult

A friend of mine was at the NAMM show and said BC had one upright on display which belonged to a customer.

They told me about the new luthier they have too. I wasn't that surprised. Honestly he's a logical choice at this point. I'm thinking they may have some sort of aluminum bridge coming...

If it's the same person who worked on my bass, I agree, not too surprising, he would be the logical choice.

I was looking at his facebook page today, looks like a new design aluminum bridge is in the making. I've got one of his older first-generation bridges on my bass, they are respectable bridges for what they do and how they sound, and his repair work on my bass was successful.

I wish him the best. I just hope his focus is on honesty, long-term reliability and keeping his customers happy. If he does that, he may be successful. That is the name of the game.

If it’s one thing I can never complain about; it’s the quality of the KDB line. And I’m assuming that quality was carried into the BC line as well.
Jason was a hell of a bass luthier/builder and I will never speak badly about that aspect of either company.
I'm not confident. His skills may be a bit better but I'll be shocked if he sticks with it longer than a couple years.

His talent has never been an issue. I’m assuming another ‘Jason’ will be the new luthier/builder? If it’s the guy I’m thinking of, he’s extremely gifted. No idea how he’d do running a company

I was just at NAMM, and spoke to Jason Brown. He's done excellent work on my bass, as well as Ron Carter, Carlitos Del Puerto and others. As far as I know he's held in high esteem in the bass community. He was saying how excited he is to be joining with Blast Cult. I see this brand really coming up in the future. (In my opinion)

At this point, the only way they can go is up.
I wouldn’t be too psyched to step into the apparent mess that is BC right now. He’s not exactly set up for success.
