Like sweet bliss! I just bought this today and jammed an hour after I bought it and it is my new favourite.

after you do a few things to them they are killer basses...... horrible bridge design and some timid/lame pups. Fix those, and then it's killer.

Bridge fixed I put an 80's bridge in it to keep it 80s ish.. and it came with EMGs in it with a mid frequency stacked knob ..not sure how to use it all yet but I can pretty much dial in to any mix with it..

I am still curious to see how many of these there are out in the world since they on ly ran them for 4-5 years.. and if they didnt sell a lot of them what did they do with the ones they didnt sell??

My main bass these days is a mid 90's EBMM Stingray. But that's a different story all together.

I guess it's different strokes for different folks. I love the micro tune feature of the bridge and my lace sensor pickups scream with stainless round wounds and are creamy smooth with fender flats. I couldn't be happier with the stock product.

Nothing wrong with those "fine tune" bridges. Those are a high quality item. I've never had a complaint about the Lace Sensor pu's either.

So far I am VERY happy with the stock guts and fine tune bridge. Nice heavy bridge with lots of sustain.

any body notice how thin the neck is on these Boner Jazzes?

You guys need to keep your Boners straight (or at least read through the whole thread)......

I was talking about the bridge on the Am Std Jazz, not the precision plus. The jazz did not come with the fine tuning bridge, nor did it come with lace sensors (although the jazz deluxe did, and I thought they sounded like poo..... which is why I traded the deluxe for the Am Std).
