So yesterday I received my Capo again (I had to returned because it had a faulty chip. That's what they told me) so I put my pedalboard back (Tuner-->HX Stomp or Boss GT1000 Core-->Capo). I started with the Boss. I liked the sound. With the Capo I add a little overdrive that feels very natural. Even though I have an amp sim and cab sim in the Boss, I use the Capo to give that little natural overdrive and a nice DI. Then, I decided to switch back to the HS Stomp. I made a preset that I have been using for touring for a year and a half that, in my opinion, sounds really really good. I plugged everything, I started playing and... the Boss sounded much much better. I love my HX, I really do, but the difference is huge. I must say that I prefer the Ampeg Scrambler sim in the HX than the overdrive I am using in the Boss. I also have the real thing and it is one of my favourite overdrives, and I think it sounds really good in the HX. But apart from that, I tried to copy my HX preset in the Boss and in the Boss sounds much better IMO. I am surprised by how good the Boss sounds against the HX...
