so even tho the effect has a rise and fall time i still need to use the internal pedal? ill have a look later tonight

I just tried the S-BEND (with the CTL1 as a trigger) and with me it worked as you are expecting it to work. I could not find a setting that made it work like you described except for, well, setting the rise/fall time to zero.

So the only thing I can think of is that there is an assign (with the CTL1 as source) at work that sets the rise/fall time to zero, which is really far fetched. Cannot help you, sorry.

You want to change the routing with the patch. That is much more easy, just save the patch with the selected routing. Forget what I said about assigning stuff, that is if you want to make changes in the patch haha.
Well... It doesn't seem to be working.

What I've tested so far.

Applied to all patches
1/4" Input Jack R/MONO = Instrument 1
1/4" Input Jack L = Instrument 2
Divider 1 is placed first
Divider 1 is in SINGLE / SELECTOR mode
Icon for two inputs is enabled

Applied to Patch Specifically for Bass #1
Div1 Ch1 is active
Has effects etc
Editor indicates that the signal goes from the top Input to Div1 Ch1
Works fine / appears to be normal output

Applied to Patch Specifically for Bass #2
Div1 Ch2 is active
Editor indicates that the signal goes from the bottom Input to Div2 Ch2
Does not work / no output

Second try
Applied to all patches
1/4" Input Jack R/MONO = Instrument 1
1/4" Input Jack L = Instrument 2
Divider 1 is placed first
Divider 1 is in DUAL / SELECTOR mode
Icon for two inputs is enabled

Input R/MONO jack appears to use Div1 Ch2
Input L appears to use Div1 Ch2
Hiss is doubled

I don't think I can use the two inputs to skip the A/B. Looks like the inputs are designed for stereo. Womp womp....

i have no idea decided to start again tonight and go thru the process think i had it set fx1 rather than fx1 trigger

its working now thats the main thing!

also im making it hard on myslef not using the editor and doing it on the unit to get more comfortable.

I am also working without the editor for the same reason (well also, I have a Linux PC so I have no editor anyways..) I feel more 'connected' (huh, what :)?) with devices that way.

I reckon you get overly complicated..Did you try out my routing like a few posts back were I mentioned using mute blocks for each channel? I reckon this should work for your application as well. Haven´t tried out your set-up though. In theory it should be the same effect.

put both basses in r/l input and set up diff input signals. use the divider right upfront. use an fx block as mute block in each signal path. copy this patch. in each patch mute the unwanted channel.

maybe I miss something here or didn´t get you right. keep us updated.

cheers.

His problem is not having output from the instrument connected to input-L/channel B. Your 'mute' solution would not change that I think. I think it has to do with the mixer and how you set it up to the output.
I used a Core for a while and IIRC the routing allowed me to run a mic and guitar into separate channels, and at other times to have two instruments connected to different ins and outs. I think I configured an external midi pedalboard to handle these switching tasks.

Haven’t done much with the GTCore lately. Been side tracked into other stuff. I thought there might have been an update this year…
I was hoping for an update too. Would love to get the other preamps from the sy1000. Or would love a synth patch or two.

I'm using the core for some chorus and preamp switcher. Also have a distortion and compressor available. Seems to still justify it's use.

I think you use the Core as a tuner too? That's 5 pedals the Core is replacing, justified indeed!

I had a Darkglass X7 for a few weeks on my board but I kept tinkering with it and when I compared it again with the Core X-DRIVE I liked the X-DRIVE better. On it's own the X-DRIVE is not very special but it mixes so easily with my sludge band!

Looking myself now at the Pork & Pickle (because I am a hard learner...).

Yeah I think the lack of updates is disappointing. It still sounds great though.

For me personally I never got what i wanted out of the preamps or the driven tones. The Capo, Model Fet and Longsword perfectly cover off all my preamp/drive requirements, I also picked up an OFF1 which does some really cool octave fuzz effects.

Anything else beyond those core effects really doesn't warrant a standalone pedal though. It'd be nice to have a core on my board to play around with the off1 and build up some cool delay bit crushing synthy tones for playing around with. It would be handy to reduce some of the tap dancing.

I just wish the core had a 3rd fx loop
