Brand Question

I recently bought a bass from my friend because it had a little paint chipping and he was selling it for cheap. But I've been checking all over and I can't find what brand of bass it is... Could anyone help me out? I figured I'd ask here, before going out to the guitar shop. Thanks

Looks like the A from Agile to me. Could be wrong though.

^ yep, i thought of agile too. could be a very early model from them? it's worth emailing them with a picture anyway. the couple times i've emailed them with questions i've gotten a response literally within an hour or two. they're really helpful! unfortunately i'm not haha no idea if it's not agile

Not the same typeface as Agile and the headstock is a different shape.

Doesn't look like it would be Aria.

I was going to say Applause but Applause (being owned by Ovation) uses Ovation type headstocks or Fender type (tuning keys are in line) headstocks.

Doesn't look like Agile either.

I put the pixs of your body up next to the body of an Aria 714 CST - AVB-200 and they are very similar - the neck and head though are different by lightyears.

Maybe Aria is making another second line for another company?

Its seems like an Aria, those 4 screw-bridges are from Aria, the STB Series has them... and the A seems like an Aria too

I don't think it's an STB. The headstock and control layout are different. All the STBs that I Google Image'd were similar to Fender basses (with and without pickguard).

It might be an older model though. Who knows.

The "A" looks similar to the OLD Aria logo...Of course the bass itself doesn't seem very old.
