Broughton Audio Super Thread

For sure! It sounds like he's proud of it too with the description on the site, hah. But it seems like a more costly/time intensive build so it may not be super available until a little later... eh, what do I know. The SSDI took more than half a year to become readily available. In due time; there's always hope for a Broughton anyways. It's just a matter of patience.
For sure, I know that's what happened with the old messenger, just too costly. Yeah that description is what got me too, the drives sound like nothing I've seen before, and this is my fav lol - something I've never seen on a description. Who needs a mute!

I bet there was at least 10 units built. (Im guessing). Hoping it’s everything the preamp pedal is just much more. Both tube types. Very exited.
Is it safe to say that this would be considered Broughton's most anticipated release to date? I know the P15 made huge waves when they first started trickling out, S1 took a second to gain traction, SR was instant. I know its probably the most costly, so far - still need a head

Real talk, looking for honest opinions— if I already have an always on Broughton HPF (at the start of my chain) should I buy a HPF/LPF combination pedal for the end of my chain? Would this be (gasp!) overkill?
Was thinking either this or a Damnation Audio Loop Blender to have a nice Low Pass going.. any input would be appreciated. :bassist:

That's what I have on my big board: HPF at the beginning, HPF/LPF (RFE) at the end...

What is your signal chain?

It’s a work in progress but here’s a shot-

Also, all of this runs into a SansAmp RBI -> into the front of my 400RB.

I have a Cali76 Compact Bass on the way (should be here tomorrow!) so gonna need to figure out where to place that as well. Wondering if having an HPF/LPF next to the compressor towards the end would be “too much” or even helpful. Life is hard :bassist:
