Best Half Time Show since Prince! Bruno Mars is a talented guy, plays just about every instrument out there. The Chili Peppers were awesome, wish they played a second song.

I loved the Mars band Temptations and James Brown inspired choreography. Really nicely done. I was very unimpressed with RHCP by comparison.

Mars was great. RHCP weren't good at all - their segment was a terrible mismatch and was just a horrible pairing. That didn't work at all, and they looked bad.

I think that's what people like about him. He is kind of old school with his sound, style and live performance. Works for me.

Mars is an excellent entertainer and I couldn't see any evidence of it being tracked.
RHCP was RHCP and at first it seemed strange with the huge contrast to the Mars band uniforms but I thought it worked.

yep. I get a lot of flack for it but Prince was the absolute best halftime. Bruno second. I listened to that album way more this year than I should admit too. There's just not enough notes left in todays music. Bruno pop songs have notes. Funky ones, top notch in every style they dive into. If I'd criticize anything about Bruno Mars it would be that they jump between too many styles. Seems to nail them all though.
